DC food trucks are getting a lot of buzz, but one has to wonder if they are serving all residents. In many U.S. cities, food trucks can be seen in various neighborhoods--near children's playgrounds, next to major sporting events, at construction sites, and outside hospitals--not only in the downtown business corridors and other main business centers. DC Food Trucks want residents to support their growth, but are they willing to serve the whole city? This morning Council Member Marion Barry, Jr. challenged DC food trucks to operate in Ward 8. Let's see which ones will meet that challenge.
